Rose Island is a small, mostly undeveloped island located about 3 miles east of Paradise Island / Nassau. The island features rugged terrain, white-sand coves, and a shallow inland lagoon near its center. It doesn’t have formal roads or full residential infrastructure, which contributes to its remote, “off-the-grid” feel. Because of its proximity to Nassau, Rose Island is popular for day excursions, private retreats, and development of exclusive waterfront properties.
